Siffrin is a non-profit agency that provides support services for adults with mental retardation and developmental disabilities. Currently, we are hiring full- and part-time direct-care staff to work in the supervised living homes, as well as Job Coach Substitutes for the Employment Support Services department.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Ohio driver's license with four or less points and no more than two convictions within the last three years
- A clean background check
- Employment is contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug test
Benefits
Paid Time Off (Full-Time Employees)
One of the many advantages of working for this agency is the amount of paid time off that Siffrin allots to its employees. During the first six months of employment, an employee will accrue PTO hours. However, they will not be eligible to use any PTO hours. At the end of every 12-month period (June 30), an employee may carry over 40 hours of unused PTO time into the next period.

Paid Time Off (Part-Time Employees)
During the first six months of employment, an employee will accrue PTO hours. However, they will not be eligible to use any PTO hours. Part-Time employees will accrue PTO at exactly ½ the rate as Full-Time employees. At the end of every 12-month period (June 30), an employee may carry over 20 hours of unused PTO hours into the next period.
Health and Life Insurance (Full-Time Employees)
Full-time employees are eligible to select Home Town as their health care provider, as well as purchasing additional benefits, such as Dental, Short-Term Disability, Personal Accident Expenses and Cancer Prevention. Part-time employees scheduled at least 20 hours per week are eligible for the optional benefits. All insurance plans include vision and prescription plans. Siffrin pays 90% of the monthly premium; the other 10% is automatically deducted from the employee paycheck. Full-Time employees also receive a $30,000 life insurance policy at no cost to the employee.

- Paychecks are deposited at any bank or financial institution in up to three different accounts
- Paycheck stubs are delivered by mail
Paid Training
A variety of training classes are offered on a monthly, quarterly, or as needed basis. Staff is paid for all training approved by their supervisor.
Referral Bonus
Our employees play a major role in the recruitment of new employees. If an applicant referred by an employee of Siffrin is hired and attends orientation, the person who referred the new employee receives a $25 bonus. When the new employee receives a satisfactory review after six months of employment, the person who referred the new employee receives a $75 bonus. There is no limit on the number of referral bonuses an employee may receive.
Longevity Bonus
Employees are awarded a bonus after five, 10, 15 and 20 years of service with Siffrin.
Holiday Pay
There are seven holidays that are paid at time and one half.
403(b) Retirement Plan
Staff may elect to participate in a retirement plan, which is designated as a 403(b). Staff contributions are voluntary, and Siffrin does not contribute. Information regarding this plan is provided during open enrollment, which is held twice during the year.
Opportunities for Advancement
There are many opportunities for advancement within the agency. Many of Siffrin's management positions are promoted within. Some of our employees that began as part-time overnight staff are now in positions of management.
